However, because of extremely low inventory and increasing interest rates, that mindset has shifted amongst most ready-to-sell homeowners. Our team already has dozens of buyers ready to move forward but what they are looking for either is not on the market or sells so quickly and overpriced that they just cannot pull the trigger.
Selling in the Winter
So, this winter may be the exception to the rule. While we recommend avoiding the major holidays, we feel that this winter offers a fantastic opportunity to tap into the substantial number of buyers and still get top dollar for your home or investment property. It is difficult to know what will happen in the Spring, while we anticipate that inventory will remain low for 2024, the springtime usually brings an influx of inventory that your home would have to compete against. Right now, there is extraordinarily little competition, and we continue to see well-marketed listings quickly and our buyers continue to fight to win the listings that do hit the market.
